ooh, thanks for all the feedback guys. That screensavers article was really the kicker. I think I have found a way to "retrofit" my sony digicam to my pc and into a vcr to record. It has RCA hookups as well as a cool firewire connector. I hae been experimenting, and now am able to view the images at real-time framerate on my PC. Do any of you know whatr I will need to attach to say, a website, to allow me to view the images?
Oh, and iateyourcat, my digicam has the cool nightshot feature, the first generation, that will let you see through clothes! Wo0T!

Check out the software that <a href="http://www.zordoc.com/webcam/" target="_blank">this guy</a> uses. Updates via a java app on the webpage once a second.
