    Post Scsi drive

    Ok Installed a Adaptec 2940 adapter with a seagate st410800 drive.
    I want to use this drive for storage of download files.
    How do I get this setup running?
    I need to fdisk it and format it.
    What would the proceedure be
    Device Man. shows the two with no !
    There is power to the drive and it spins

    I have the bios set to scis-a-c
    The utility picks up and I go thought the yes and no questions to use format. But I think I need to fdisk this thing.
    I am totaly fimilair with IDE prcatices
    Help is much appreciated Thanks

    You can use any version of FDisk, but i would recommend running Adaptec's version "AFDISK" which comes as part of Ez-SCSI, hopefully that will have come with the card, just Fdisk the drive the same as any other normal drive and format. Good Luck.
