I thought my scratched cd was bad....
But now I dont have my DSL until the 19th!!!!
I recently upgraded to the 1m service, and they had to do a tear down of my line. So now Im stuck on a 56k w/ netzero....ouchies.
Anyone know of any free dsl isp's that don't have 200 dollar termination costs?
Ill be in and out of the forums very little.

I don't think there are any 'free' DLS ISPs...
And with DSL and ADLS - if your phone lines need to be down, you're SOL.
I'd complain to them big time about it - you should not be billed for that time (thats what, a week?).
And if they BS you about it and won't give it to you, then tell them that since they're in breach of contract, by law, you (the end user) do hae the right to terminate that contract without any penalty, since they are not supplying you with the service.

DSL is usualy provided by one company that then farms out to other sub ISP's.. DSL is too expensive to give away. I'd call up your tech support and get your credit, if first level gives you a hassel, escalate, keep doing this till your problem is fixed.
Where i work, it's simple. If it's our fault, we give credit, if it's the subs fault, we don't. Sometimes things get iffy but overall it works well.
If all your waiting is one week, then don't make a big fuss, be polite when on the phone and explain that all your looking for is credit and i'm sure they'll comply. The big key to getting what you want is to be firm but very polite. Threats and swearing get you hung up on.
