Data Transfer From SCSI Hdd to IDE..
Hi All,
A customer came to me with several PC's that have 9GB SCSI hard drives in them, they have about 1GB free on each of them. I carry 80GB IDE drives in the store and am wondering if there is a way to transfer the data between the SCSI and IDE drives?
Are there any utilities?
Thanks...

If you are using Ghost to clone the SCSI drives to the much bigger IDE drives and if the OS is NT or W2K, you may encounter the "can't find NTLDR" error when you try to boot a computer from a new drive if you have allowed Ghost to resize the system partion (the partion which contains NTLDR, NTDETECT.COM, and BOOT.INI) to a much larger size. Don't blow away the SCSI drives before you see if the new drives will boot. You may have to re-clone the drive making the system partition smaller.
