I use Winamp for playing and SonicFoundry, SirenJukeBox to encode,. only thing Winamp wont do,..........

I like WMP 6 if given a choice between 6 or 7! But I heard 8 is supposed to be much faster...

Winamp is still the best but it now has one limitation. If you convert your CDs to WMAs (no comments please) and try to play them in Winamp on a Win 2000 pro machine, the Windows Media licensing web page pops up and it won't let Winamp play the songs.

7 sucks AND blows AND bites. And 8 probably will too.
8 Does. It takes forever to load, the skins don't work right, and surprisingly enough, ITS A MEMORY HOG!!!

I installed the most recent version of Winamp, and it looks and sounds good, but I STRONGLY dislike the playlist setup. Horribly slow scrolling, and not very intuitive. I uninstalled it and went back to RJB+.
