quake 3 server maps

For those of you who play on the server, what map would you most like to get rid of?

I'm gonna add some new ones and I'd like to shorten the list up a bit. I'll be posting a link to a site so that you can download the maps ahead of time instead of having to wait when you connect.

I'll go with anything that's up there - I'm not fussy.

If I can just find other players after midnight, I'll be happy.

BTW, players can enable "autodownload" in the Q3 settings to automatically start downloading maps (models?) as they enter the arena.

Yeah I know - but it would be nice to do able to download them a head of time instead of having to wait for a 4 - 6mb file to download when yer in the mood to play.

Excellent point - That's why I keep 2 CDs full of maps somewhere near my PC at all times

It took a long time compiling those, and the mods and models CDs, but it's well worth the effort.

I was referring to those who wish to skip the hassle and just download straight from the game server itself when they connect.

Your idea is better though, as my suggestion would undoubtedly create lag on the game server itself.

Updates will be static until I figure out a cool way to automate the updates
