    Post Beta Test Company Forums

I just installed the latest release of this forum bulettin board on the company forums and it seems to be quick.

    Try this URL
    Company Forums

Try the 0-9 that should already be in cache and then 3com, let me know if it comes up very quickly, then go to one of the oter letters, and test, they may come up more slowly because they are not yet in the cache and then go back to hem and they should seem very quick. If you have time, give it a whirl and let me know, thanks!

Yes, it works for me as you described. However, you should unlink the profiles between this board and the other one for the time being, since the profiles between version 5 and 6 are totally incompatible (as you and I found out earlier )

I like it. The other letters didn't seem to load much slower at all. Job well done!

    Wow.

I'm still on dialup and it took between 4-8 seconds to load up the cached links.

Others took between 7-18 seconds, which is still very good in my book!

all in all, it does seem a little quicker. in some instances, it has seemed a hare sluggish.

    Still kinda sluggish to me.

Also, had a small problem with the Login name...it lets me login but then displays the avatar URL as my name... http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum2/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=393&t=001462

I did have to go in and Edit My Profile...now, all seems fine.

Anyway, keep up the Great Work!

Nice and quick load and I replied to the voodoo 4500 post, BUT

I am logged in, but it wanted me to login in again. The login link under the username seemed to be dead, but the link at the top of the page worked ok.

After posting the "hello, nickname" message is also the url for my custom avatar, which throws off all the format in the top box and the space for my avatar just shows the url. Finally the number of posts I have managed to achieve is missing.

Heh, other than that, seems to be fine, the smilies work!
