Return to Wolfenstien
For all you FPS lovers out there, I have a new game to suggest. Return to Wolfenstien. It's nothing new, as a matter of fact, it runs off of the Quake III engine. It's the same old same old. Run through a level and kill everything that moves.
However, this game has atmosphere out the a$$! It's sweet. Highly detailed levels that make you feel like you're IN Germany. (Of couse it may help I'm running a GeForce 3, P4 1.8, and a half a gig of RAMBUS)
But where this game shines in my opinion is the AI. I've never seen enemies that will actually run and hide when you have a superiour offensive position. It's SWEET! The weapons are realistic and a headshot is an instant kill where-as body shots do less damage. Some baddies even have shields that they can use and you'll go through an entire clip and they're still not dead! I.E. you need to plan your shots and not just put the most firepower in any one spot that you can like in Quake.
The story line is so-so, but it does get bonus points if you've played the original. They have kept some of the aspects of the original, like eating food for health and finding treasure. It brings back some nostalgia.
As far as FPS games go, this one is high on my list.

Liked the original Wolfenstein. GREAT atmosphere.
Might have to try the new one...mmm, need better 3D card...
Has anyone found any odd things like how if BJ was down to the last few health points, he'd lick up blood off the cell floors to get a point?
