I didnt go through all of these, but other things you can do is Xcopy his H/D to another one, but make sure the partition isnt active, then put it in his computer as a master drive on the primary channel. I once took the jumper off a guys drive so that what was a primary became a secondary, man was he sweating. He thought he lost everything!


The VNC idea I saw in here is a good one too!

Maybe too late to use these, but here goes...

1. Download and install tweak all (winfiles.com) disable desktop items and various other items within the start button.

2. Edit MSDOS.SYS to BootGUI=0 (Got a few 'expert' techs on this one <eg>)

3. Disable the swap file

put a piece pf clear packing tape over the mouse ball, if they look at it quickly they'll see the ball but not necessarily the tape. it took my boss 5 minutes to figure out, he thought his mouse died

put a screensaver SCR file in the startup (password protected of course). The best is 3D text with something very unappropriate in it.

open the SYS.INI and change the line

shell=explorer.exe to shell=progman.exe

changes the shell to basically Win3.11 Watch the fur fly as people wander about and try how to navigate!!

No, it would be pretty much the same level of meanness. Once they find it on one end and it still doesn't work they're gonna check the other end.
