Jason,
Have you gotten the new POP server up and running yet? If so, congratulations. I expected some downtime, but I haven't heard any complaints from any of our customers about it. Good job!"
So anyway, I'm thinking about not doing it all now, since my boss thinks I did it so quickly there was no downtime because of it...I might put it in my office instead. Put my TNT2 M64 in it...then I'll have an even BETTER machine to play Black & White on!
Your boss won't even come down to the room to check on the progress?! Wow! That seems pretty cool. I wish my boss was like that. Instead, he likes to pretend like he knows what the deal is, when in fact he has no clue what anything entails time-wise. He seems to think that swapping a POP server would take a day. Sure the actual physical swap would take a day, but all the preparation would take much longer than that.

Yeah, my boss is an idiot, but he's good with people, so that's why he's in charge. And I was oringally told to do the swap like 2 weeks ago. All the preperation is finished, I'm just too busy goofing off to get the actual job done.

I should be doing my homework before class tonight. I should be balancing my bank statement. I should be cleaning my messy kitchen. I should be calling people for work. I should be changing the oil in my car. Take your pick and add a few. Doesn't matter. I'll still be here at Windrivers.
