Gone for a few days...

Want to let my friends and family here at WinDrivers know that I might not be around for a few days starting Wed. 5/23/01.

Having surgery Wed AM to remove 1 screw from the inside of my right ankle and a plate & 6 screws from the outside of same. Broke the ankle a few years ago, and I'm tired of the pain and aching I've been putting up with due the bionics. Really looking forward to feeling better. Whenever I can get downstairs to my computer or if I can borrow a laptop, I'll be back to post my patented blend of obvious observations, lame jokes, suggestions, etc.

Anyway, I'll be bed-bound for about 3 days, then on crutches for 2 weeks. I'd appreciate your prayers (or if you're so inclined, your virgin sacrifices) for a successful surgery and a speedy, complete recovery.
