You and the other 1000 people that have told me stories about bike wrecks. I'm not a speed demon or wheely rider. Those types give motorcycles and all other ATV's a bad rep. If you know how to drive on the streets and highways the proper way then not much can happen to you.
Tips:
Always ride on the far right side of the lane.
Always make sure drivers can see you, do not ride in their blind spot, ride in their line of sight. And if you live in a busy city try and avoid traffic and especially at rush hour. If possible don't be the first to pull out from a stop light.

No thankyou. You can keep that cold weather. Here in Memphis we temps of that sort about once every three to four years or so.

Dude...read "A twist of the wrist" by Keith Code or watch the video.
I don't know how many times I've read the book or watched the video now and I've gained new knowledge each time.
To give you some background on my current knowledge, I've ridden a Bucketracing bike for 10 or so years, roadbikes 5+ years(~120,000km on twisty roads) and I've ridden a CBR400 around a track with a lap record of 1 minute 12 seconds in 1 minute 18 seconds in the only session(10 laps) I had out there.
In my experience, most car drivers suck bad and should be impounded or avoided at all costs.
To prove something, one must first try to disprove it.
