    Post Problem Employees

Can't vouch for its accuracy ("Truth On The Internet"), but an interesting read:

Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 500 employees and has the following statistics:

29 have been accused of spousal abuse.

7 have been arrested for fraud.

19 have been accused of writing bad checks.

117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses.

3 have done time for assault.

71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit.

14 have been arrested on drug-related charges.

8 have been arrested for shoplifting.

21 are currently defendants in lawsuits.

84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year.

Can you guess which organization this is?

    Give up yet?

It's the 535 members of the United States Congress. And we put them there.

Damn...its times like this I am glad I am an aussie....at least we only have to put up with a lying prime minister who no one can stand and a governor general who is under a cloud for child sex abuse claims against priests..

well maybe we should check the rest....seeing as we started as convicts here......

I have heard this one before but it would take a large portion of time that I'm not willing to sacrifice to verify all of those accusations. While I've not molested any children or killed anyone, I'm not a golden boy and I'm sure that if I were ever in a situation where some unscrupulous individual could benefit from lapses in judgement that I have made in the past, it would come to public light. They might be minor and insignificant to some but in the end you could expect the media to blow it way out of proportion.

Everyone in any position of authority, will at one time or another, have to face matters of this nature.

Sowulo...ever had to deal with anyone trying to smear your name with false accusations on this board? No details, please.....

Hope you don't get the wrong idea. Not trying to be rude here....I'm just trying to say that there are people who will disrespect you just to make themselves feel better or to impress someone else.

Where I work there's only one person that fits any of the catagories on that list... actually, I'll rephrase that....

Where I work there's only one person that fits 8/10 of the catagories on that list...

I don't know the validity of this but it seems like LIFE as it is anywhere. We're not all perfect. It sucks at this day in age where it's so easy to accept such actions from nearly anyone.

    "I'm only human!"
    "I'm not perfect!"
    Just excuses!
I wish there was a higher standard in this world.

I guess I've had a bad day. I need to go chill out. Sorry for rant fellas!
Hey? Why is my computer prompting me if I would like to accept a cookie? Is it Oatmeal or Chocolate Chip?
