You mentioned painting your case with the color-changing paint. In my other job, we sell that stuff (the PPG version) and it looks great with a couple coats of clear over it. Just be sure it is put over a black base or it won't shift the colors like you'd expect.

Just want to let all know this color-change paint (PPG's name- HarlequinÔ) runs about $34.99 per ounce plus shipping ($10.00). Most of that is hazardous fee. So it may be best to find a local PPG refinisher. If anyone is interested let me know - I may be able to work something out

It's breaking the Taboo, most users think that you can't do that to the case and anything that looks personalized is really cool but they are not allowed to do it. I just love the shock value of my old PC, I spray painted it read and put yellow flame decals on it. It looked cheasy but people loved it.

I was also thinking about doing mod's on my case. I am thinking about spray painting the out side with that paint which changes color's. They use it on tricked out cars and my future brother in law knows people who will do it. I was going to but the neo lights on the inside and make my PC into a lowrider. I think it would just be slick and break the taboo of the mushroom colored PC.
I don't think you wanna get that paint Elabtcho. It's a House of Kolors mix that you can get in several different shades. It also costs around $250 AN OUNCE. It would look cool but that seems a lil pricey to me to spray on my PC.

I missed this whole fricken topic...I love modding.
My tips would be...Its cheaper if you buy parts seperate, and you can do more custom effects.
Be careful when cutting plexi glass. If you drill holes it start with a very small drill bit and work your way up. Go slow with it..it cracks REALLY easy. The second you think it has strength it'll crack on you and prove you wrong.
I painted the outside black and the inside gold on one of mine. That was cool. Make sure you use colors that go well. Plan it out. Try to make on and off switches for any lights to go in it. Lights= heat. A good website I use is www.virtualhideout.net
They have some cool mods that are worth a look.

I have seen it on cars, in diffrent light it changes colors, Ive seen green to red, red to blue, yellow to red. It looks very cool on cars, Ive never seen it on a case but I want to try it. It's very expensive but I think I amy be able to work something out with my future brother inlaw.
