This isn't a computer prank but it's funny as hell. All you need is a celling fan and confetti lots of it. When the person isn't home you put the confetti all over the blades of the fan, and then just wait for a hot day.

Got a hold of Net Bus from TheLow1. Works great!!! I rigged my officemate's computer yesterday before I left and I can't wait for him to show up to work. (He's only in a couple times a week). Where can I get a copy of Back Orifice? Is it a retail product? Is it available for download? Thanks for the info.

Once, I wrote a short program in VB poping up an error message and saying that GPF occured, press OK to format your drive and reboot the PC. There was no option to Cancel. Then I put it on my boss' PC and pointed a shortcut from production app to the program. You should see him freaked out and not knowing what to do when he saw it. We still talk to each other.

When I was in the service, we had a program called "Mirror Image", that only a few people new existed on their terminals. (we were using some off the wall O/S for our computers).
Anyway, it would let you take over anyone's computer you chose on the network, literally being able to see what the other person was typing onto their computer in real time.
One day, I decided to play a joke on a female co-worker in the same office so I took over her computer.
I typed in "This is your computer talking to you, I'm lonely and bored, do you want to play?"
As soon as I sent the message, I heard her scream, and looked up in time to see her run to her boss pointing to her desk. As she and her boss were going back to see what was going on, I closed out the screen, and acted normal. She freaked again, because the mesage was gone from her screen and everything was back to normal.
After everything calmed down, I opened up the program again, sent her a message asking "Why did you tell on me? I only wanted to be friendly". Again, she freaked.
At that point, I figured I better chill before I get found out.
A few weeks later, we were enjoying lunch together, and I told her about this joke.
I quickly found out I don't look good wearing yogurt on my head. LOL
In spite of it all, we still became good friends.
I really am trying to understand your point of view, but I can't seem to stick my head that far up my A$$

Someone brought in a new one to work yesterday. This one when you put it in the start up menu, after windows loads the desktop changes to the "default" green color and you get a pop up windows asking if you want to try to restore the desktop. When you click "OK" a loud moaning sound plays and naked women and tits appear all over the desktop, comming out from behind the icon and stuff. It is way crazy.

I use Link RemovedIt has all kinds of pranks in it, it will allow you to make your victim play tic-tac-toe with you, you can make them chat with you matrix style, you can flip their screen, move the mouse, change mouse buttons around, configure error messages.
I like to do it to my friends and then make up stories as to how the stuff they are experiencing happens
