Omnipen Digitizers
Anyone heard of this type of digitizer tablet? Please help me find an updated driver for Win 98. It works fine in Win 95.
Thanks in advance

I suspect this is part of the EasyPen Input System, as mentioned at
http://www.mir.com.my/~cmteng/control/co.htm
You may want to try the drivers for the Genius Tablet at
http://www.mir.com.my/~cmteng/control/co.htm
Also, check the following FAQ page...it may help to solve your problem with Win98
http://www.geniusnet.com.tw/genius/eng/faq/faq3.htm
Let us know if you get it to work...

I tried both leads, Schultzz, and I was able to find a Genitab driver at the Genius FAQ page you mentioned. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. The other lead I will follow further.
Below is a more detailed description of my problem and product in case it helps.
Thanks
Below is a description of the tablet and the problem:
Tablet: 6"x4" tablet, wired two- button pen. Connects to the PS2 port and the serial port simultaneously to draw power from the serial port. Model No: OP 604s. Serial: DI7350143. Made in Taiwan.
Problem: works perfectly in Windows 95. In Win98, power comes on (tablet lights react) but mouse does not work.

I have now given up on finding an updated driver, and gone back to Win 95. It looks as if Win 98 is not for the serious Windows user. I also noticed an increase in errors on Zipdrive read / writes.
I would still like to solve the mystery, though!

OP-604S - Windows Vista 32-bit driver support
Hi,
This driver (OP-302S - ppw2xp.exe) at http://members.driverguide.com/drive...riverid=113712 works great with this device. It's an XP legacy driver but I've been running it in Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit with no problems.
