Another subscription service....ARGGG.
After almost 4 years of using Windrivers to find drivers, I thought I would never see the day when the site would go to a subscription service.
Hopefully I will not be the first to say "I WILL NEVER PAY TO USE THIS SITE!", you must be crazy...
I'm sorry I don't click on the your banners but I never have or never will.
It's enough that Internet users have to pay for an ISP. I don't know about you all but I pay $39.99 a month. Now you want $25 more to find drivers??? Sorry but this Internet strategy is quickly dying. Just look at Napster, that haven’t even started using subscriptions and they've lost all their users. This whole subscription approach to making money is ridicules. Just like one of my "free" web hosts. They've went to subscriptions and I interned moved my site to another fee web hosts.
I can still remember the day when people were just happy to have a presents on the web but now they want to charge for it...

It has to come to this. I think it's good. If I was still a bench tech I'd be subscribing and I'd be expensing it.
Would you rather have a bunch of popups flying at you? Advertising based business can only go so far. Look at yahoo. If I see one more x10 cam popup I'm gonna puke.

$29.95 a year......... how many of you pay close to this a month for porn or other subscriptions?
TBH I think it is a reasonable price as long as the actual quality of service either increases from what it has been or at least stays the same. The users who run their own businesses will easily be able to recoup this fee within a couple of customers.
