Spiderman vs. wolverine

[Stalemate]

If you're referring to an all out, fight to the death brawl, then Wolverine would eventually get the better of Spiderman.

His recuperative abilities and his healing factor would, in the end, come to exhaust Spiderman abilities. (I recall an episode where he actually healed from flesh and muscles burning off his adamantium-laced skeleton <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> )

If you're talking about a quick slugfest, Wolvie would get his butt handed to him, no questions asked. Spiderman's enhanced reflexes and "spider-sense" would just serve to enrage Wolverine as the latter wouldn't be able to connect with his target. Spiderman's quick wit and taunts would literally make Wolverine go berzerk.

I'm actually scared that I've analyzed this question to such a level!

I beg to differ:

<a href="http://www.marvel.com/comics/bios/bio_wolverine.htm" target="_blank">Wolverine's stats</a> are higher only in durability and fighting skills as compared to <a href="http://www.marvel.com/comics/bios/bio_spiderman.htm" target="_blank">Spiderman's stats</a>. In all other cases, Spiderman has more strength, speed, faster reflexes, is more agile and is not just a bit more intelligent but a lot.

So my first statement still stands. 'Nuff said (as Stan Lee used to say )

This is like comparing captains of the Enterprise: Kirck or Picard? There's just no clear-cut answer.

PS An old friend of mine would literally fly off the handle and start foaming at the mouth when one alluded that Batman and Robin's relationship was more than just amiable when the tights came off. As a matter of fact, he was the only one could beat me at armwrestling during our "guys' night out" way back when - he just asked a friend to blurt out "Batman loves Robin" at the appropriate time. ...and I can't make sense of just why I brought that up.

i dont know if you guys ever read the marvel "what if" comics.

but they did have a good one called what if wolverine was lord of the vampires. all the superheroes and villians where vampires including spiderman and the punisher kills them all, except wolverine he kills punisher at the end.

also there was another kool one called what if the hulk went bizzerk,

the hulk went crazy and started destroying everything and thor starts fighting him, at the end thor breaks his neck.

i always liked the what if comics they should make more, or make cartoons based on them
