I am 5'9" and am used to being slightly shorter than average which ,I think for guys, is 5'10". But if you really think about it, I'm only 4% shorter than someone who is 6' tall. However, I weigh 150lbs.

I am 5 foot 9 inches. I have been told by my doctor that I am of normal height for my age and sex(male), but I often feel shorter than my counterparts.

    Cool

You all complain that you got it rough. Try this:
    5'5", male, 18 yr old, 160lbs solid.

you try getting on a lacrosse field with guys that are 6'-7', or try reaching for the cerial on top of the fridge.hell, my 11 year old brother is taller then me.

advantage yes, when the 7' tall kid is looking up at you and thinks "holy s***, did dwarf boy just knock me over?"

disadvantage, like the typical male, i want a girl shorter then me....you try finding a perfect girl under 5-5

Alright, ill admit it, i am 5,5 (like i said) and I have Napolian Syndrome. And i like to talk (cause i feel in control) believe it or not, i do though have trouble finding clothing, to find my hight and my build together is difficult, im 160lbs of muscle (no i dont work out, i just stay active)
i drive a camaro though and unlike all you giants, i make use of it (you know what im saying, the roof isnt too low for me..or my ex who happened to be 5-4)

    Cool

Being tall is cool, Renee was right! I like to use my 6'5" -ness (approx. 192cm) to change light bulbs and reach things at ceiling level. However, sinking in mud is not going to be easy. I swear, my size 18 (17 U.K.) shoes have the name of a popular tire brand instead of Adidas. I even have iceskates and rollerblades! And at 290 pounds of beefcakeness, I can take on a rugby team no sweat. Why not, I've done it before. Our team won.

6'3 and I'm the only one at work that can reach the top shelf without a ladder. But I'm never appreciated for it. Finding pants is really hard.

I am a mere 5'9", but then again, I am just 16, so I probably have a bit to go yet.
