Metal Gear Solid 2....(warning, MAJOR spoiler)

I like that idea, Clam, and if Konami absolutely HAD to shove gay-*** Raiden down my throat, I would have at least appreciated the choice to play as Snake (as he DOES have a storyline that runs parallel with gayboy's), or one of the other bad-*** characters from the series, such as the Cyborg Ninja.

As you said, that would make what's already a great game a total masterpiece, having the choice of multiple agents.

There are rumors of a way to play Snake's storyline in the second part of the game, but until I see solid proof, it's just wishful thinking.

Now that I beat it legit I input the cheat code and went god mode with all weapons! How fun is that. Blowing stuff up and shooting holes in everything!! And killing bad guys with the grenade launcher!

By the way I am not sure what I did but the rats were shooting at me!

Now to download and add the extra goodies to the game.

Sorry, I know it's a matter of opinion, and the original Metal Gear for NES was great and all, but nothing can touch Metal Gear Solid. It had it all - awesome gameplay, great graphics (for the hardware it was on) and an in-depth, exciting story. MGS2 has even better gameplay, better graphics, and the story IS pretty damn good, I just don't care for the direction it goes. But it is extremely well written.
