I like that idea, Clam, and if Konami absolutely HAD to shove gay-*** Raiden down my throat, I would have at least appreciated the choice to play as Snake (as he DOES have a storyline that runs parallel with gayboy's), or one of the other bad-*** characters from the series, such as the Cyborg Ninja.
As you said, that would make what's already a great game a total masterpiece, having the choice of multiple agents.
There are rumors of a way to play Snake's storyline in the second part of the game, but until I see solid proof, it's just wishful thinking.

I cant stand the PS versions of metal gear, I think the NES games were much better

Sorry, I know it's a matter of opinion, and the original Metal Gear for NES was great and all, but nothing can touch Metal Gear Solid. It had it all - awesome gameplay, great graphics (for the hardware it was on) and an in-depth, exciting story. MGS2 has even better gameplay, better graphics, and the story IS pretty damn good, I just don't care for the direction it goes. But it is extremely well written.

GREAT GRAPHICS
Beat it in 2 hrs just gay, f00 runs naked to much in the game who would want to play a game with a naked guy?? Humm well im done.
