Tweak XP
I ran across this about Tweak XP. Anyone know if this is true?....d
Tweak-XP Review:
-=WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS PROG!!!=- After this program is installed and executed it chages the last 4 bytes of win.com (!!!) and stores an (illegal) copy protection in Win-XP's Registry. A few examples: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Code Store Database\Global Namespace\Java Packages] "Signer"="xxxx" <--- This does not belong here!!!! [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SystemCertif icates\ ROOT\CRLs] "Boot"="c:\" <--- This neither!!! After a few researches about the Author i came to the conclusion that he is active member of the Warez-scene so beware of his programs! Hope my warning came not too late! X-buZZ

Checked a couple systems with and without TweakXP installed and can find nothing to confirm the warning you posted. I suppose it is possible that there's a hacked version out there somewhere that does this but mine is clean....
