    Post Log On

    If you are using the Welcome Screen Log On , is there a way to get the administrators account too be displayed as one of the accounts, if not how do you switch to the administrators account without having to disable the Welcome Screen log on.

    try hitting ctrl, alt, delete twice

    goto control panel > user accounts > "change the way users log on or off" > uncheck the first box "Use the Welcome Screen". here you'll get a regular win2k/NT login screen.

    I know I saw a reghack somewhere .... these 2 came from tweakxp.com so you might wanna take another look there...if I find it I'll post it

    Ok I figured it out, goto run -> lusrmgr.msc , open groups, double click administrator, remove all users leaving administrator only, open power users, add removed users to this account. Thats it now the Welcome Screen will have a icon for the administrator.
