Upgrading the pentium
hey..
i am thinking about upgrading my 450Mhz pentium III to a 1000Mhz Pentium III.
Motherboard : Iwill's Vd133 (via's apollo pro 133 chipset)
i checked with the board manufacture and according to them, my version of the board supports these processors.(there was a voltage problem with earlier versions of my board)
the question is , will i have to reinstall windows ?............or will it recognize the new processor and updae itself ??

Should be good to go. No need to do anything when you upgrade the processor.

Yes, just make sure there isn't any jumper settings to change, and you should be fine
(most newer boards detect cpu's automaticly)

Think that board has automatic CPU settings.
BTW SlyVenom, I never found that damn STB card. Found a ton of older Elsa and ATI cards (AGP) as well as a couple of SiS PCI Cards.
