Although I had a heck of a time with Norton AV 2002, the exact opposite has been true with Norton Utilities 2002. The Norton Win Doctor program has worked flawlessly. The whole Utilities suite has performed well.
On a side note Norton CleanSweep 2002 has also performed very well.

thanks for that info but I guess I should have said Free download.
I dislike Norton so would like to stay away for it although it works for some I am not one.

This guy here <a href="http://www.jv16.org/" target="_blank">Regclean</a> has a freeware program that works

Yeah....That one is quite handy. I use it for both Win2K and XP pro.

Microsoft RegClean 4.1-a works on Win XP too.
