    Question SB live 5.1

    has anyone ever gotten the 4 speaker output on a SB live 5.1 to work in windows xp? i know that mine doesnt seem to want to work, and as far as i know i have the latest drivers. if someone has gotten it to work, with that specific card, could you let me know what drivers you are currently using for the card?

    I just got this set up this last weekend. Xp installed a driver for my sound already. I then got the XP update. Then I hooked up the Green and Orange Cable (I think) and I get sound in both the front and rear. Are your cables hooked up right?

    lol, oh yes, thats not a problem. i have tested it with a channel on my amp that i know works, acutally, its my main channel that i just switched over to the rear output. i had it in 4 speaker mode, and nothing!!!
