Drive consistency problems
Since ive installed XP on my system, i sometimes get startup problems where XP checks for drive consistency. Ive replaced the cables, and ran a diagnostic tool on the drive and it passed all tests. Is there anything else i could try? Cheers

Try rerunning the setup process but instead of going through with it, run the recovery console and run CHKDSK on the drive in question. If you type CHKDSK /? , a list of appliciable switches will be displayed. The swich you want to run (from memory) if the /F which fixes any errors upon the disk.
