    Post Help: No Mouse or Keyboard!!

    Hi Folks!
    My hands were hitching bad...and I change the drivers for my keyboard: from standard to MS Internet Pro (since mine is a MS internet pro).

    After rebooting the system: neither the Keyboard or the mouse respond!!

    Can't log in! Not even is safe mode: any suggestion?? I dont wanna re-build my system!!

    Thanks for all your help guys

    Wait a second. How are you getting into Safe Mode if your keyboard isn't working?

    The issue i believe is that the keyboard does not work in windows. Seems odd to me though. BTW, what OS are you running?

    All right, here's what I propose: You overlook my obvious blunder, and I'll overlook that you asked that question in a post in the Windows XP forum.

    ok guys...forgetting about eachother's mistake...how about giving me some suggestion??

    I'm going to hook up a usb mouse tonight...maybe this will allowe me to log in and remove the keyb/mouse driver so they will be re-detected.

    PS
    OS= WinXP
    It works under DOS...not working under Win

    Last known good might have been an option, however if you have already tried to get into windows several times, my guess is that this is no longer viable.

    The next suggestion is recovery console. Microsoft seems to have it in a nut shell for you here, even offers a remote registry edit, if you are already on a network:
