Issues with XP Pro Upgrade
I just got done upgrading from Win ME to XP Pro. The only hardware compatability issue was with the drivers for the video card (ATI Radeon 128mb). I installed the appropriate drives and problem solved. Now there is an issue with Norton Anti-virus 2002, it hangs whenever it is launched. I also played a couple of games for testing purposes (Max Payne and Red Alert 2). The games lauched without a problem and saved games loaded fine. Although when I completed the current stage on each game, rather than continuing to the next stage the game was shut down and I was returned to the desktop. Very strange. Has anything remotely similar happened to any of you?

Generally its best to backup you data and do a format+clean install, have never had very good luck with OS upgrades

I tell people that when they "upgrade the OS, they upgrade there problems"
I'd try a clean install.
