[RESOLVED] XP?
Anyone going to the Micro$oft XP conference?
I love now being a Sears employee and being able to go. Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! They're even giving retail vers of xp pro!

Although I can't go for financial reasons (i'm in college), I am anxiously waiting for XP. I've heard good things about the OS. The only bad things i've heard about are about Micro$oft increasing their monopoly and about the avalibility of raw sprockets to any program. Not big enough reasons for me not to get it, especially since i'm stuck with ME on my current system.

The literature I was sent by MS last week for the UK seminars was that each attendee got a full OEM version in mid November - early December via a mail-in coupon.

Well, i got the full vers of xp pro tonight. and... a plastic xp watch ... and a combo pen with ball point and stylus ... and a key chain.

Three of us here are are going to OEM builder training conference in toronto... "Each attendee will also receive a a free copy of Microsoft Windows XP Professional Release Candidate Software, Office XP NFR Software and a Windows XP Stainless Steel Travel Mug." (woo hoo! )
