    Question WinXP Pro News server?

HHHmmm....Call me crazy, and I would tend to agree with you...I want/need to run WinXP Pro with a News Server...I can't figure it out. Does XP HAVE a News server option?

Um...not sure if this is exactly what you meant.....but Outlook Express 6, which comes standard with XP allows you to set up a news server.....

XP will do absolutely everything that 2000 can and more. So I hope that answers your question.

Don't you set that up in IIS? FYI, XP doesn't install IIS automatically. You have to go the the Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Add Windows Components and then choose IIS Services.
