2 XPs in 1 box...can I do it?
I have one of them Hard Disk swithces so you can select a bootable Disk. The purpose is to have multiple OS or whatever. I like it cause my kids can crash and burn HD #1 (win98 with games), then dad can come home and reboot with HD #2 (XP with CAD stuff). I can then fix their stuff when time permits. My Question is this. In the exact same BOX w/ exact same hardware, can I install XP on Two drives? I realize the spirit of the liscence agreement "for one PC only"....but this "IS" one PC. I would like to have HD #1=WinXP and HD #2= Win XP.

I dont see why not ... as long as they are different drives and same hardware (well up to so many chnages and things permitting) .. i think it would work

You are fully within your licence rights to put the same copy of XP on both your harddrives. Technically (I've been to an XP training) you have the right to put it onto 2 computers if you wanted to, as long as one was a desktop and one was a laptop. You just might need to activate by phone.
