    Post Two video card problems

Before i upgraded to XP pro i had two video cards, one Trident 9680 PCI and one ATI Rage Pro AGP, and they both worked in 98. But after upgrading, the second video card does not work, in my Award BIOS I have it set to boot from the AGP, then the PCI card does not work. But if I boot from the PCI, the AGP card does not work. When I check the properties for the card that is not working, it says "This device cannot start. Code 10". I checked the MS KB but of course no help there. The drivers for both seem to be installed correctly, unistalled the PCI, moved it too a different slot, then restarted then XP found it again. Checked the ATI site and it says that I should use the driver for the Rage Pro that came with XP, which I am. Anybody know anything, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I had a little bit of trouble with my 2 video card configuration also. In the display properties, only one was listed, though in device mgr, both were listed. my solution was to simply upgrade the drivers. the xp drivers on the cd didn't seem to work for my cards in a multiple dispaly configuration. Hopefully your manufacturer will come up with some new drivers, because other than that, multiple displays is usually pretty simple to get working.

Thanks for the help. Kinda figured it might be the driver for the Trident card. I'll keep looking. Thanks

I hope you find a solution for your problem. I have a Matrox 450, dual agp, and it works flawlessly. I picked it up for around $100. In the past I used a two card solution in Win2000. I had to in order to use two different display sizes. In XP with the 450 I can use different display sizes.
