    Post Start up Discs

    Do the XP Start up Floppy Discs (6) just bring you to the A prompt when loaded?

    No, you just get to the start of XP setup, same as you would if you booted off CD. It's painfully slow too. Boot off the CD if your mobo supports it. If you want something that gives you a DOS prompt got to <a href="http://www.bootdisk.com/" target="_blank">http://www.bootdisk.com/</a> and take your pick.

    Thanks. The Start Up Discs got me around an error message I was getting when using the CD. They took 10 minutes to load, which I didn't think was too bad. I have them safely stored with my Win 98 Start up Disc.
