upon inserting cd, a screen popup... how to get rig of this

Hi, upon inserting a cd, a screen popup and ask what do u want to do with it and listed a list of choices. how do u remove this popup damn thing every time you insert a cd?

Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > Device Manager > CD-ROM > Double click on the offending CD drive > Settings > Uncheck autoinsert notification

Hi i can't find the setting after double-clicking on the cd rom, however i found another way of disabling with your reference. I right click on the cd rom from my computer and went to properties and autoplay was there.

Good thing you got it fixed then. Yeah, it's actually a slightly different process to disable auto-insert on XP than the way you would do it on Windows 98.
