[RESOLVED] New hdd help

I need a bit of help ...and fast.

I'm a Win9x tech with limited winnt/2000/xp support under my belt. I've put together a machine for a customer, its running Xp on the master harddrive. Now i'm adding the 2nd harddrive ( wish he had of ordered it earlier ) and i'm trying 2 partition and format it ..

whats the best way to go about this in WinXp Home ??

Well, I'm not exactly sure how it is in XP Home, assuming its similiar to XP Pro....right click my computer go to manage....click disk management...right click on the drive (not the letter but the empty white space) and create your partitions then format them

And for your info--you can also set it up as any other pc you have done--use fdisk!! Just get it off from a disk! If you don't like that then there is always partition magic!
