    Post launching apps

    would like to launch executables without the popup menu save/run from current location.

    I'm not sure what you want to do specifcally, but you may want to try Poledit...It will allow you to limit a number of things users can do, such as launching only the apps you want them to.Otherwise, it sounds like a registry tweak that one of the other members could enlighten you about.

    I'm sorry for the confusion. I am soooo lazy <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

    I would like an html/java etc command line to launch window 9x/dos based applications.
    have used

    <a href "file.exe" click me </a>

    but it comes up with the download dialogue box asking to run file from current location or save file to disk.

    I use html mainly for launching autorun cd's for my family.

    click here for christmas movie
    click here for required codec

    its the executable that gets me, cant figure out how to launch it without jumping through a bunch of hoops.

    Also if someone would be so kind to please post the address for the freeware html autorun file again. I would really appreciate it.
