attach ANY file for download
I'm in the process of making my first "non-FrontPage" website and have a question. Is making a file available for download (i.e. an .avi file) as simple as including that file in the directory structure of the web page and making a link to it. Then, FTPing it up with the rest of the page? (By the way, I'm using DreamWeaver 4 if that changes things any...)
FrontPage always did this for you, and I'm looking forward to getting rid of that application. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Yup - that's pretty much it.
Make sure your link points to the right directory/file and let her loose!
BTW, my favorite HTML editor is Notepad.exe - hate Frontpage.

Notepad? Nahh. Use something like textpad or editplus. Line numbering and color coding are good things.
