    Post registars

I have come to the conclusion that the only thing worse then having to call tech support for some shody piece of software or equipment a client has purchased is having to deal with registars. Registar.com is not that bad, the cheap registars like bulk registar is worse and the one company that I would like nothing more then create a singularity and watch from the side line as they are sucked in is Network Solutions.

Just had to vent for a sec.

Well I never had a problem with NSI. I went to their site, found out if the name I wanted was free, picked it and paid for it on my charge card. Easy and simple. For some reason, I trust them more than other registrars but I probably got the website on a good day after it had lots of double caffeine coffee

Forgot I posted this and not really sure why I posted it here.

Anyway, was not talking about just registering a domain. I meant if there is a problem with it and need to do something like change the admin email for a client when the one there is no longer any good. Or having to register a nameserver with network solutions even if it is up and running, but registered through another registar. Before you can change the DNS for a domain registered through them to point to a nameserver you must also register the nameserver with them for their database. InterNIC's is just not good enough for them or something.
