Access 97 question...about .mdb files
Good Morning Techs and Techettes, your old pal Stan here with what should be a simple fact check about backing up Access- I just wanna be sure...
I had a fella come in here with a win95 machine, experiencing windows problems (can only get safe mode)... anyway he uses it to run his welding business and he does everything with an access database that was set up for him by some guy he can no longer get a hold of.
Basically he is looking at a reload to get the machine working, and his Database looks highly customized. I have saved his .mdb file on my machine and it looks OK when I open it on my machine...
However, I am paranoid about losing his stuff, and I just wanted to check with techs who know more about Access than me: are all his customizations that were set up for him stored in the .mdb file?, or should I look for something else as well...
Thanks team for any help or advice!

The .mdb file is his database. He may have more than 1 database though.
Might search for *.mb* just to be safe.

This is the real Stanley right ? I'm pretty sure the mdb file holds everything. I would also check for an mde file, I think this is the uncompiled version if I remember right.
