Here is an issue I am having with a couple machines running Outlook 97 and 98. The setup is "internet only" and the users get their email from their ISP's pop server. Every so often they have emails that duplicate several times in their inbox. When this happens they cannot delete the duplicate emails and have to have the isp clear the origional out of the inbox from the server.
Steps I have take.
Archived their PST files and had them remove old emails.
added more pagefile - they have 512mb of RAM and 2gb pagefiles. So I doubt the resources could be the the cause of this issue.
Update NAV and scanned their machines.
Machines:
WinNT 4.0 SP6
IE 5.5 SP2
All updates have been install - HFNETCHK and all that
Office 97 with outlook 97 or 98
P3 733
512MB of RAM
Any ideas?
