    Post Help! Can't install sp-1 or 2

    I am running win2k and I can't install service pack 1 or 2 for office 2k. sr-1 reports that excel.exe and fm20.dll can not be updated and that they may have been updated already by another program and install cannot continue. sr-2 reports that it can't install because office 2k is not up to sr-1 level yet. I uninstalled sp2 for win2k to see if that was the problem, but it didn't fix it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled office 2k with no better results. I sure hope one of you have an answer for this one...

    Cool

    That has happend to me to, i had to download the entire sr-2 file on the computer i was going to update. so if you have downloaded the file on another computer you should tyr downloading it on the machine you want to install it on!
