ATI AIW Radeon & AVI Capture - Confused
I'm really confused here. I've had AIW's in the past and could always capture to AVI. With the Radeon AIW, when I try to capture to AVI, it will capture but not give me a prompt for a file name and then deletes the temp file.
I'd really like to capture with AVI (better quality for editing). Any help will be appreciated.

Hehe,.....
My Radeon 64ddr ViVo is also making problems. Under W2K thow.
I click on the start capture and it stop alone after 3 sec.
I am curently with Emails to ATI trying to solve the problem.
If you will see the answers they sent me so far you will be ROFL !!!
15 days till the next email will come.....
I have quite given up on ati and ordering a 1K Capture card. Nothing to do.
I was intending to use the Radeon to capture Mpg1 for Video CD's. I got a Pioneer DVR A03 and every min i dont burn somthing i losse money.

What annoy's me is that it takes 3 f'ing weeks to get ANY kind of reply from ATI, much less a useful one.

Because although I'm one of the regulars who respond to ATI issues, I've never played with the capture stuff....Thanks Scuba <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Try to install Ulead Media Studio Pro 6.
You might be able to capture thru it.
there is a link in my site at the software companies index.
