Post Editing one line of *.ini file without re-writing it

I'd like the install portion of the application I'm working on to change the "Shell = explorer" value to that of my program.

Could one of the kind souls here please point me to this information?
Stress.... The uncontrollable urge to choke the living $417 out of someone who desperately needs it.

Ignorance.... The inherent capacity to demand of someone else that which one is too lazy to learn/perform for one's self.

User....An individual who, through immense proportions of ignorance, create stress.

    Thanks opiate.

Even after the journey is begun, we still need to occasionally ask for directions....

    Actually, you can't.

Every time you save a file you are rewriting it.

<a href=http://www.vb-helper.com/Howto/fileio.zip>Here</a> is some sample code that does something similar.

Yeah ShadowKing is right, Everytime you add or change a line in a file, it has to save the whole thing.
Hard work often pays off in the long run, but Lazyness always pays off now.
