cardinal 3250 won't initialize
I just installed this modem(internal ISA 56k) and it will not initialize. i have tried different drivers to no avail. anybody have any suggestions??

Hi. You could try running the V90 flash on the modem. I was given a dead, completely non-funtional, 3250 to look at several months back, and the V90 flash revitalized it. There must have some static damage to the EPROM. The flash is available at this site. There are two model numbers with different flashes. You will find the model number in the middle of a long string of numbers on a sticker somewhere on the modem.
Also, has this modem ever worked for you? What operating system are you using? I could never get my 3250 to function under W3.x. or DOS - I don't think it supports these OSs.
As with many PnP WinModems, configuration can be a real pain. Read the instructions carefully.
