hayes modem and rockwell flash
right, i didnt know i had a hayes 56k modem installed as id bought my pc second hand, id had it undone, but couldnt see any indentifiers anywhere, the flash prog i used said it was flash capable so i upgraded the flash bios with v90 2.2 drivers and it stopped working, i took the thing out and on the underside it said HAYES in very big letters... i do believe that ive done it a little harm by doing this as the flasher wont let me go back to my old settings neither, any way at all to get the thing working again or did i kill it with extreme prejudice?

You will have to get the right flash for it. You can attempt to reflash it, but no guarantees. Flashes and drivers are available right here at windrivers. Hayes is out of business.

If you need it, I have the flash for the Hayes Accura 56K FaxModem. I'd be happy to send it to you!
