I am still yet to try hooking up to battle.net
I like the idea of it, but Im unsure exactly how poor my dial up connection will be, especially connected to US servers...

Bleh. I never got around to installing it...some things came up. Maybe tomorrow.
I love doing BNET. Its the only way ill go. I like trading and teaming up with people w/o worry of cheaters.
We'll see though. I dont even know what character Ill make as I dont know what the current patches' strategies are.

Go Druid. They rock! I went Lycanthopy all the way. The +dam, +hit, +speed and +health bonuses alone make it worthwhile. Either that or assasin.

I originally went Druid when I first got the game..but they really suck for p2p fighting. too slow. unless your a werewolf..but even then, you dont get the big health bonuses like the werebear. I dont TK, but I DO like to beable to hold my own when a TK does come into my space.
My ultimate pk character was my burizon bow on my 1.09, level 98 bowazon. Talk about rape!

Well, I used my Werewolf for mostly speed, and a couple dire wolves and ravens to keep my opponent busy. I'm not saying I never lost, but with the +hit +dam and +speed bonuses there isn't much that can keep up with you. Think I may start another character after I finish JK2.

I like the assasin but the barbarian is the character that I prefer. As far as speed, one of the barbarian skills is increased movement rate. And using two great swords I do a LOT of damage.
My favorite trick? Open a door and find a hoard of minions, leap over them all and take out the unique, then hack and slash my way back through the minions. I love to make the fur fly.
The battle cries are cool too. One of the higher level cries does damage to everything within a given radius, and stuns them as well. It's fun to go back to normal level with my level 65 barbarian and run around gathering monsters, let them all get close then do the War Cry and they all drop dead. It's hysterical.
The Dragon has left the building.

Lol. Yeah, the Barb's warcries are some of their best skills. Battle Commands and others give HUGE bonuses...and are great for hacking through a heavy level with a friend.

I usually run with 3 dire wolves (I think thats the max), an oak mage (or heart of the wolverine) and a carrion creeper that returns life. With that combination, and fury/feral rage running, I can wade through just about anything. Great, now I feel like playing again.
