That's exactly what I mean. I love the realism factor of the game.

Just tried multiplayer last night and IT ROCKS! I just have to find my way around a bit more, in one free for all I was sniped as soon as I respawned. I'm using a cable modem and I play as Grunt Murdock

i'd love to play mohaa but cannot.
the win98se pc i wanted to use, gets to the splash screen and sits there (the hdd and cd lights flash)
its a athlon tb-1.2ghz with 512ram and a radeon 7200 64mb vid card, montego 2 sound card, 2 x ibm 40gb hdds.
i got all the latest drivers inc dx8.1
my half-life, star trek, gp3 and similar all run wonderful so this is really annoying.
mohaa (and midtown madness 2) both stop - i mean stop, i left them for 40mins once.
on my win2k pc, mohaa plays for a few seconds and then locks up... i think thats the sound card so i now have sonicfury with latest drivers, etc but have not tried it since the upgrade.
any ideas?
Mr Miyagi, by any other name... (is this sig short enough?)

Try a reinstall. If you can't uninstall the game from add/remove programs, you'll have to use regedit and clean all mohaa entries from your registry. Run a clean install (Scandisk, Dfrag) then when you reinstall the game accept the DX install. Hope it works out for you.

Set your desktop resolution to 640x480 or 800x600, (whichever is the lowest available for your machine)and 16 bit color, start the game, adjust video properties in the game to prefered settings, exit game, reset desktop to original settings, restart game. If that does not fix the problem try different specific refresh rates.
The Dragon has left the building.
