Post Jedi Knight II : Outcast!!!!!!!

Guys...Gals.....Herms.......everyone get this game. It kicks SO much *** its not even funny.

I could play for HOURS with just 12 bots, in the darkstar, lightsabers only. Theres nothing much cooler than 3 jedi's all hacking away at each other with awesome acrobatics up where Luke and Darth fought in the third movie. Oh but thats not all....switch to one of your basic force powers, or if your dark use your death grip...and yank your foe up in the air and release him over the balcony....watching him fall below you with an agonizing scream.

Oh its great....so very very great.

Buy it. Steal it. Do whatever you have to to get this game.

I already had the game and tooted its horn earlier.

You just need something higher than a K6-2 500 during outdoor scenes.

My basic strategy is Force Push, Hack, Rinse and Repeat till dead.

Has anyone actually figured out how to effectively block and attack with the saber yet? I feel like a moron most of the time and can figure out why I get killed in one shot, but can kill anyone without hacking them ten or eleven times.

WOW. Very cool game. I only got as far as releasing the prisioners in the mine before I had to get some sleep, but wow.

Visually, its beautiful. Controls are pretty standard. Gameplay is nearly exactly like the first jedi knight game. Storm troopers are pretty dumb though. I like how they run right at you, then right by you and arround the corner. Accuracy with the weapons suck big time though. I sure hope some of the guns you find later have better accuracy, cause the repeater rifle and blaster couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from 10 paces.

Puzzles are pretty simple in this one (as long as you look around the room you can't get past).

I'm gonna wait to finish the game single player before I do it multiplayer though, just so Iget a better feeling for the game and don't look like such a noob on any multiplay servers.

Just dont swing, and make sure all your points are allocated into saber defense. If you use a force that requires another hand, like force grip, you wont block with your saber unless its right in the line of fire. Hopping around with your saber, not swinging will block 95% of all shots hit to your front hemisphere. Once you swing...you can get hit quite easily. And you can't block sniper shots, only dodge them, and thats with level 3 um something..can't remember. not mind trick...like mind clear or something wierd..shows all enemies blahblah.

Finally finished the single player on the weekend. Wow, do I ever hate all the damn puzzles. Way too many to make the game truly enjoyable in my opinion.

Again, the enemy ai sucks big time, but it is funny to watch storm troopers crouching while walking past you.

I really liked the level layouts, huge and lots of people to dice up with your lightsaber. Its really fun once you get force speed at level 3 and slice'ndice your way through a pack of troopers before they have time to react and get a shot off.

I have not yet tried the multiplayer, but I'm hoping its smooth, because I would be really pissed to find out its all laggy and full of bugs.

Maybe those of us who have it could hook up one night to do a little multi-playing. But for me personally, I'll need a little time to get good at it first. I can't believe how many damn controls there are for all the stuff!! Yeesh.
