Question Photo Deluxe Fails to Open

    Greetings All!

I cant figure this one out...

the appl;ication is avliblet o all system users, any member of hte adminitrators group can access and run the application fine. every one else gets nothing. No message, no thinking about running the program just blotto..

Security settings are set so that the users shold have no problem running photoduluxe, and i have installed the app under the user accounts to clear up any potential registry problems, but it still wont execute.

Hi! you may only be able to use app if you are an administrator. I have found this to be a problem where I try to use a program under a limited user but I couldn't get it to work.

In my case it was just the setup of the app that needed to configure some files and so i switched the account to adminstrator and when it was all setup I then set it back to a limited user acount then the app worked fine.

    Good luck

    Win2k Pro.

    Dell Lattitude P3 1G 256MB, FujiFilm finepix2400

I reinstalled the sotware as the user, with admin rights granted, all went smoth. restarted, and ran the app fine. Set rights back to user, app stops working... right back where I started.

Try making them a power user.

Also don't forget to go to the security tab and set up rights, not just the sharing tab.

Out of curiosity, is this a Win2K compatible application?
